Important COVID 19 Information

To our wonderful clients,

We are faced with difficult circumstances again over the next 6 weeks.  It is during these times that we are challenged to use our strength of thinking to build resilience despite the stress, frustration and anxiety that we may all be experiencing.  It is more important than ever that we focus on maintaining good mental health.  As such, we remain open to support you to continue to work on your goals.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION VERY CAREFULLY SO THAT YOU ARE AWARE OF THE CHANGES TO OUR COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS:

If you live in the Melbourne Metropolitan Area, you can choose:

  • to attend face-to-face sessions (provided that you are well)

  • or to have a Telehealth session (online or phone) - strongly encouraged, especially if you have health risk factors.

If you live in Regional Victoria, sessions will need to be via Telehealth due to the current government restrictions.  Once these restrictions ease, Regional Victorian clients can begin face-to-face sessions once again.

In order to ensure that we are taking every precaution, we will be adding a few additional measures to our day:

  • If you are unwell - please use the Telehealth option and do not attend our rooms

  • You will be required to wash and or sanitise your hands when you arrive before attending my rooms

  • You will be asked to complete some questions about exposure to COVID-19 and physical symptoms at each session

  • We will also be testing temperature for each client before the session

  • Please only attend with the minimum number of people possible (for example, on your own, or with one support person or carer)

  • Please travel in the lift one person at a time (unless with your carer/child)

  • I will be sanitising between each client, please be patient if I am running a few minutes behind.

  • I will also be wearing a mask (following advice from the government and professional organisation).  Please let your children know to expect this change so that they feel comfortable and secure about this change.  You may also choose to wear a mask yourself to your session.

I have attached a story about these changes so that the children can understand how things might be different.

These measures are put in place so that we can ensure that we are taking all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.

We are here to support you. Please let us know if you need additional appointments and we will work with you to find some suitable times.
